“If you search for a single verse of Scripture which states specifically that the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ and the catching up of the Church is prior to the Tribulation, your search will be in vain. There is no such verse. But by studying the whole of God’s Word (which you should do), you will discover that the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ is a certainty. “I do not find in the Bible the teaching that Christians will be “raptured” prior to the Tribulation. The Bible teaches two comings of Jesus: the first, His birth; the second, His coming again in triumph. There is no third coming for a secret rapture. The book of Matthew specifically says, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days…. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven…and He will send His angels…and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” – Pat Robertson
