Anyone who dedicates the time to engage a systematic study of the doctrine of the Rapture will come away from the text mentally challenged by the event. Why? That God would choose to reconstruct a spirit-based body like Christ’s for the disembodied spirits of His righteous dead and raise them heavenward, while at the same time snatching and changing immortal His embodied church—is mind-boggling.
